WRIA 1

Watershed Management Project to Host Watershed Forums, July 7, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and September 1, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

at the Laurel Grange, 6172 Guide Meridian, Bellingham.

The Initiating Governments – Whatcom County, Lummi Nation, City of Bellingham, Public Utilities District No.1, and Nooksack Tribe – invite all community members to participate in the WRIA 1 Watershed Management Project and encourage their participation at these free public forums.

The Forums are an opportunity for members of the public and caucus members to contribute to the WRIA 1 Watershed Management Project. The Forums will provide citizens a vehicle to hear about and comment on the work of Initiating Governments, the Planning Unit, and caucuses. These two hour events will be facilitated to provide ample time for discussion and public comment on the June 16th Planning Unit meeting and the September Planning Unit meeting, as well as provide an overview of the WRIA 1 Project.
