Habitat Suitability Criteria Workshop, Oct 10-12, 2000
A panel of experts will convene Oct 10-12 to discuss the most appropriate Habitat Suitability Criteria (HSC) for WRIA 1. HSC are used to quantify the characteristic behavioral traits of fish species during various life stages (e.g., fry, juvenile, adult) in terms of the conditions that provide favorable habitat and those that do not. The HSC will be used in the application of the Physical Habitat Simulation computer models to be applied as part of the instream flow studies.
