Flow
Instream flow will be one of four components of the WRIA 1 Watershed Management Plan. As stated in the project's Scope of Work, the goal of the instream flow component is: "To supply water in sufficient quantities to restore salmon, steelhead, and trout populations to healthy and harvestable levels and improve habitats on which fish rely." The instream flow technical team, which is made up of Initiating Governments staff, Planning Unit members, and technical experts, will lead the assessment of instream flow data that will contribute to meeting this goal. Background information For a brief overview of the instream flow assessment, take a look at the fact sheet Studying Instream Flows in WRIA 1 (PDF Format).
