The Watershed Management Plan

The Watershed Plan will be the blueprint for managing water resources in WRIA 1, outlining policies and programs to manage water supplies, protect water quality, and restore fish habitat. In March 2005, the Planning Unit approved the Watershed Plan. After a public comment period, the plan was approved by the Whatcom County Council in June 2005.
