Adaptive Management Adaptive management involves evaluating the success of a project, policy, or program, and making changes to the game plan accordingly. In addition to an adaptive management strategy, the Watershed Plan will include a long-term monitoring program, to measure the success of the pilot projects and the WRIA-wide programs. The Parametrix consultant team conducted an adaptive management literature review, including an annotated bibliography of the adaptive management literature and a technical memorandum summarizing the results of the literature search. The technical memorandum provides background information on the adaptive management concept, its history, lessons learned, and summaries from a wide range of adaptive management applications.
